Oman has lifted travel restrictions to the capital, Muscat, after a deadly storm dumped heavy rains on the capital and other coastal areas.
The travel ban was set to be lifted on Tuesday after the National Disaster Response Team (NDRT) concluded that the rainstorms had minimal impact on the region.
But the NDRT is yet to confirm the lifting of Oman’s travel restrictions.
Travel between Muscat and Oman has been restricted for at least the past month.
In January, Oman had banned all nonessential travel to the country, with only a limited number of foreign delegations allowed to visit the country.
More than 10,000 people have died and thousands more have been left homeless in Oman since the storm.
