oman (INR 100,000) is the most unaffordable country for medical bills, according to the latest data from the World Bank.
The country was ranked among the world’s least affordable countries for the second year in a row and its ranking has declined by one position from last year, the World Health Organization said.
Oman was ranked 29th on the 2017 list, down one position since last year.
The WHO said that the country is on track to reach its target of reducing its overall health expenditure to $40.7 billion by 2020.
